Variety of Southern Alberta - Tent 61 celebrated its 25th anniversary with a Wine & Cheese Gala with Auction on November 29th. Looking back and reviewing our 25 years of success denotes what Alberta can do in 2008.
Our Ambassador Rocco Romano - CFL Alumni & Hall of Fame Inductee, and special guest Khari Jones, CFL Alumni, Winnipeg Quarterback repeated their amazing dedication to Variety by encouraging the attendees to participate in changing kids lives. Rocco Romano explained his long standing commitment to Variety stretching over a decade "because he believes". This left many drawn to be among the group that we know as Variety.
The contributions to the auction; the donations received and including the amazing volunteers is why this event was successful.
Now, it has been motioned to be an annual charitable celebration. Alberta is thrilled about the outcome and can't wait to get the New Year started. |
